Star Wars Battlefront II Details its New Updates

At this year’s EA press conference at E3, new details were revealed for Star Wars Battlefront II. There’s no doubt that the game had a rough start and didn’t hit the ground running like the developers intended, but they’ve stressed that they are doing everything in their power to fix that.

To start, they’re expanding the Hunt mode, which began with the successful Ewoks on Endor. Next week, there will be a new expansion focused on the planet Kessel, set during the newest Solo film.

Multiplayer is going to be even simpler, with easy team up for players and their friends. The new squad system will streamline this, to alleviate some of that multiplayer connectivity stress. There will also be a new Starfighter mode, with a focus on dogfighting with hero ships. Expect to pit the Millenium Falcon against the Slave I and other iconic battles.

For the first time, Star Wars Battlefront is also going to be featuring content from the Clone Wars TV show. Big heroes and villains such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous, Count Dooku, and Anakin Skywalker were spotlighted, though we can likely expect even more to be revealed in time.
