Ubisoft has had a major showing at this year’s Gamescom. Highlighting games like Watch Dogs 2 and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, the publisher is aiming for a strong game lineup for the coming months. And now, one of the hidden gems from their E3 showcase, Steep, finally has been given a release date. For those of us who can’t hit the slopes when the snow starts coming down, Steep will be released on December 2nd, allowing us to live our extreme winter sports fantasies from the comfort, and warmth, of our home. Below is Ubisoft‘s newest trailer showing off some of the high-octane gameplay you can expect in Steep.

Alongside the announcement of Steep‘s December 2nd release, Ubisoft announced that the game would be getting a Gold Edition. This Gold Edition follows the same formula of previous Ubisoft Gold Edition games. Players who purchase the Gold Edition will receive the Season Pass, giving them access to all major expansions, digital content, outfits, equipment, and an exclusive costume to wear in-game.

According to Ubisoft, some of the planned expansions include the Moonlight Pack, which include three glowing outfits to wear (seen in the trailer) while you’re tackling the three bonus night challenges (also included in the Moonlight Pack).

For gamers who opt to get the standard edition of Steep, there will be a free post-launch update that takes players to the cold, white peaks of Alaska. You see Ubisoft‘s original gameplay announcement for Steep at E3 here. The E3 gameplay walk through can be seen below.
