Super Smash Bros.

Early last week, the long-awaited Super Smash Bros. Invitational players were announced. These lucky eight players are some of the first people to try out the highly-anticipated game for Nintendo Switch at E3 this year and I can’t say I’m not a little jealous of them.

Super Smash Bros. has been the hot topic on everyone’s mouth ever since it was revealed for the Nintendo Switch in a Nintendo Direct back in March and the announcement of the Invitational, later that same month, further added fuel to the ever burning fire of Super Smash Bros., with speculation of who was going to be asked to this exclusive event.

The list of competitors that was announced contains some of the best Super Smash Bros. players in the industry and if one knows competitive Smash well, a couple of these names will be familiar. Some obvious names include ZeRo, champion of the 2014 invitational for Wii U, and both Mang0 and MkLeo, Genesis and Evo winners. But what makes this event even more exciting is the fact that Nintendo has stated that this is the first time these players will get their hands on Super Smash Bros. for the Switch, which will definitely ensure a gripping competition for anybody watching.
