A new trailer has been released for the upcoming PC port of Bandai Namco’s popular RPG, Tales of Symphonia. The new trailer demonstrates the unique combat system, as well as briefly introducing the story and characters. It also unveils the February 2nd release date for the first time.

Tales of Symphonia initially debuted on the GameCube back in 2004, and is one of the few Tales games to receive a direct sequel, launching on the Wii in 2008. It met an incredibly popular reception among RPG fans, and stands as one of the more popular entries in the long running Tales franchise. The “Multi-Line Linear Motion Battle System” borrows mechanics commonly seen in fighting games, and is considered one of the more engaging combat systems in the JRPG field.

The Steam release of Tales of Symphonia follows its own HD Remake, which launched on the PS3 last year. It also comes hot on the heels of the PC port of Tales of Zestiria which landed in October last year, via Steam. There is currently no listed price point, but we’ll likely see more information soon, being so close to launch.
