During their presentation at Gamescom, Ubisoft released new footage of the sequel of their open world, hacking based game: Watch Dogs 2. In the trailer, we see the game’s protagonist, Marcus, teaming up with other player-controlled allies to take part in some hacking shenanigans.

Watch Dogs 2 brings back the seamless online gameplay from the original game. As Ubisoft mentions in the trailer: “As long as you’re online, there’s always a chance to meet other players.” With these other players, you can take on a series of gameplay modes including co-op missions and bounty hunts. Co-op missions are all about getting the best score, and showing it off on the game’s leaderboards. Bounty hunts let’s you pursue other players who have caused too much havoc in San Fransisco, and rewards you for putting them to a stop.

Marcus is also able to invade other players games. Similar to the first game, Watch Dogs 2 lets you jump into another player’s game and hack their DeadSec systesm. They are then notified that they have been invaded, and can use every tool at their disposal to find and stop the opposing hacker.

Everything that you do online in Watch Dogs 2 is completely optional, and you can choose to block other player from invading your game. However, if you decide to participate in online activities, you will be rewarded with in-game items that range from money to weapons and apparel items.

Watch Dogs 2 will be released November 15th, 2016 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
