WWE 2K18 announced for the Nintendo Switch

The cover star for WWE 2K18 Seth Rollins announced that WWE 2K18 will indeed be coming to the Nintendo Switch this fall.

This marks the first time since WWE 13 that a WWE video game has been on a Nintendo platform. While the game only has a fall release date for the Nintendo Switch, it has been revealed that the Nintendo Switch will contain all the features as the console versions possess. On the official website, they discussed some of the new features coming to WWE 2K18. Some of the new features are eight man matches, a new grapple carry system, and an overhaul in the game’s graphics. It is still unclear how deep or diverse the overall roster is in WWE 2K18 actually turns out to be. The official website noted that it will be the most complete roster of the biggest WWE and NXT Superstars and Legends to ever grace a WWE Ring.

During last night’s airing of WWE Monday Night Raw Raw, it was also announced that six time world champion and Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle will be the preorder Bonus for WWE 2K18. Along with being a preorder bonus, you will receive two play versions of Kurt Angle which are the “American Hero” persona from 2001 and his ECW “Wrestling Machine” persona from 2006. The preorder bonus trailer is a follow up to the WWE 2K18 announcement trailer starring Seth Rollins which was released 3 weeks ago. Kurt Angle was recently the headline inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2017. In April, Kurt angle was announced as the new General Manager of Monday Night Raw where he still serves today. WWE 2k18 will release October 17th for PS4 and Xbox One with the Nintendo Switch version coming out sometime this fall.
