The Xbox One Elite Controller’s release date is now set for October 27 to coincide with 343 Industries’ Halo 5: Guardians’ release. The controller boasts hair-trigger locks and customizable control sticks and directional pads. An app available for Xbox One and Windows 10 allows for complete customization of the thumb stick and button assignments. Four paddles on the back of the controller gives the user the ability to use their third and fourth fingers to press the A, B, X, and Y buttons to ensure complete thumb stick control while executing button commands. This controller is unlike any other released for current gen systems and is marketed towards a professional gaming audience. The controller is priced at $149.99 USD.
